It’s been a few weeks since the new site went live, and I wanted to step back from the usual install tips and book previews for one post and just talk plainly about what this relaunch has actually been.
The blog turned into more than an SEO checkbox
Honestly, the blog started as a practical move — better search visibility, a reason for people to come back to the site between purchases. It’s turned into something I look forward to writing. Breaking down an install schedule or a depth-chart conversation for a wider audience forces me to actually articulate things I’ve done on instinct for years without ever writing them down. That’s been useful for me as a coach, not just as a marketing exercise.
The Mental Game Library became the thing I’m proudest of
The coaching packages are the business. The books turned into something else — a place to put real stories I’d never written down anywhere, in the hope they’re useful to a kid I’ll never actually coach in person. That wasn’t the original plan when this site relaunched. It became the best part of it.
What’s still ahead
More books in the series. More position packages.
